Welcome to ‘Ronis West restaurant, a blend of authentic and contemporary Italian gourmet cuisine based in Murrieta, California. After many years as the Chef’s Grille, we decided to do a restaurant transformation and offer Old World Italian cuisine that caters to fine diners and families. All pastas are fresh. All sauces are made on premise. We offer the finest steaks, seafood, and produce available, along with a full bar, draft beers, fine wines and specialty cocktails. The restaurant and menu were designed from scratch by Chef Martin Corso. The first ‘Ronis opened in Connecticut in 1994. We now bring ‘Ronis West to California.

About Chef Martin Corso

With more than 40 years of culinary experience, Chef Martin Corso brings classical technique, restaurant leadership, and national-level menu development expertise to the kitchen at ’Ronis West. A classically trained chef and master saucier, his career spans fine dining, successful restaurant ownership, and culinary innovation for major hospitality brands across the country.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, Chef Martin founded and operated three East Coast restaurants before relocating to Southern California in 1999. He later contributed to research and development initiatives that helped shape menus for several nationally recognized restaurant concepts. He is also a founding member of the Research Chefs Association—an organization dedicated to advancing the connection between culinary craft and food innovation.

Despite that national work, his foundation has always remained rooted in Italian cuisine. Fresh pasta, balanced sauces, thoughtful ingredient pairings, and the relationship between food and wine continue to define his cooking style today.

Locally, Chef Martin is known for his Test Kitchen Tuesday tasting events and The Trio dining experience, and he earned both First Place and the People’s Choice Award at the 2018 SoCal Chef Open—recognition that reflects both professional respect and guest enthusiasm.
